journey of my original heart shadow light music

Music balances the intellectual with heart. Enjoy.

Last month, I shared “Sometimes Good Things Happen.” In some ways, this is a sister song. No matter how good or bad things get, they can always be worse. There’s an odd optimism in this song. “It can get worse” means they aren’t worse now. And, if there are people who can be there with us when things are bad, it’s a whole lot better. Now learning to be there for each other given the training our existing culture promotes is a whole other thing. That’s what my training, Kindness for a Change, is all about. That fact that “worse” now includes societal collapse makes it all the more urgent.
